Kids Safety Products – Escape Hardwood Floor Boo Boo’s

Have you ever sat back and watched as your baby tried to crawl and at every movement, your muscles jump because you are so afraid they will fall and hit the floor?

Well, that was me. I was so scared my baby would fall and bang his head and possibly really hurt himself that I was too anxious to let him explore the way he should. I needed a solution and that’s when I searched for kids’ safety products and found the kids interlocking foam mats, and therefore you need this in your nursery or playroom. Imagine a life where you can just put your baby down and let them explore and not have to worry about them falling on their face.

These mats are awesome.

They come in 9 different colors with a total of 36 mats in one pack. You can choose to batch colors together to have the mats look bigger, or you can mix the colors up for a more playful look. I’ve tried it both ways and they both look great.

Safety comes first.

Did it ever cross your mind that your toddler while trying to learn to crawl could fall flat on their face and maybe even bite their lip if their mouth hits the floor and they have teeth? It crossed mine.

Yes, moms, this is possible. Surely, I can’t be the only one out there that has worried about this very thing. But let me tell you, the moment I put those mats down on my son’s floor it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders.

Now, I’m not saying you need to cover your whole house with foam mats, believe me, if I could I would, but just having a small space where your baby could play and have a soft floor would be so nice and needed.

This could be their nursery, a corner of your living room, or even a playroom if you have space. For us, we chose to give Jayden a playroom because the number of toys he had was massive and we didn’t want toys all over the house, plus we knew this was the best way we could keep him safe. We lined his floor with the foam interlocking mats, put his furniture and toys around it, and he was good to go.

I know what you’re thinking…

“Why should I spend a ton of money putting mats on my floor?” Well, guess what, it’s nowhere near a ton of money. I was able to do Jayden’s whole playroom for 100$. Yes, I said 100$, at 33$ for 3 packs it was by far the best investment I’ve ever made for my baby.

By 7 months his floor was completely covered, and he was in his own world of learning to crawl and explore his surroundings. What I loved most about this was being able to let him play as I watched and not having to interfere with him, thus letting his brain do the work and his body follows.

It was a good learning experience for him and gave him the space he needed to grow as a toddler.

So, why do you need these mats so bad?

Because it’s the safest thing ever for your baby or toddler. The reason I say a toddler is because once you have these mats, you won’t want to get rid of them when your baby starts to grow.

My son was 21 months old and I still had the mats down and they were just as useful then as they were at 7 months. Your baby won’t stop falling anytime soon. My son loves to crawl and play and have a ball. He runs and jumps and rolls around and guess what? I don’t have to worry. Even if he falls, I know he’s okay.

I’ve eliminated him from having any real bruises from falling because he has a padded floor. It’s so worth it and you will thank me when you see just how great this is in your house.

Jayden’s playroom has baby gates and the plugs are secure so he’s not touching anything he’s not supposed to. He has a whole room for playing and plenty of toys and an area for taking a nap.

It’s a toddler’s dream come true. And it’s all his. I don’t have to worry about tripping over toys around the house or worry about him getting into something that’s dangerous. It’s a win-win. And for just 33$ for a pack of 36 mats, you can’t go wrong.

Believe me, you need this in your toddler’s life.

When Jayden turned 9 months old, I took his pictures as he played in his room and I have included pictures to show you just how much fun this could be for your toddler. Having a safe place for your toddler is the best thing you could do for them.

Imagine nights cooking dinner and not constantly running around the house to make sure your little one is not getting into something. It saves a bunch of hassle.

Whether I’m doing homework, running to the bathroom, or having a cup of coffee on the couch, I know he’s safe in his haven. Don’t take this lightly. You will have a lot of running and chasing to do when your toddler is one and finally feels that freedom, and that’s when you will want a space like this with padded floors.

I love Jayden’s play space and I love the padded floor. It’s extra peace of mind.

How do you feel about these kid’s puzzle exercise playmats? Do you think you could use something like this in your home or do you already have them?

I would love to hear more about your experience with play mats and I’m sure other moms would too. Please leave your comments below.
