Everyone has heard of diaper rash before, there’s no assuming, and no doubt about it. It’s a giving, at some point in your life you have heard the term diaper rash. But what happens when you’re a new mom and your baby experiences it for the first time isn’t what you’d expect. If you are reading this, chances are your baby has a diaper rash. Cure bad diaper rash, treat it and stop it fast with this ointment. Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, Advanced Therapy.
When Jayden got his first diaper rash I felt so horrible. I felt like it was my fault and somehow, I was the reason he was going through this. But diaper rashes are normal. It’s a part of every baby’s life and nothing you do will prevent your baby from never having a diaper rash. It just doesn’t work that way. At least now, you have a product that really works and you no longer have to feel bad and neither does your baby’s bum.
Tried and True
There are dozens of diaper rash ointments on the market and all of them claim to be the best and to stop diaper rash in its tracks but what happens when you buy them and go home and a day later your baby is still suffering from that horrible redness on their bum? You are at a loss and you just want your sweet baby to feel better.
Take it from me, I have tried multiple diaper rash creams. For some reason, my baby seems to be one of those kids who always have a diaper rash, and it’s not because he’s wearing his diaper too long, it’s just his body. It could be the acidic foods that he eats because my baby loves his fruit, but it’s just been something we have been dealing with for a long time now, and after I found this ointment I felt so much better about knowing that I could treat him fast.
I’ve tried Desitin Rapid Relief
There was nothing rapid about it. After a day, we were still in the same boat, and this time he was left with a white think creamy residue which meant I needed to wipe twice as hard to get it off.
Next, I tried Boudreaux’s Buttpaste
This one claims to start healing on contact and has about three times the amount of Zinc than the normal diaper rash cream so I thought for sure that this one would work, but again, I was left with a thick white creamy mess and this one was even harder to clean off, even after letting my baby sit in a warm bath.
I had to figure out what the best diaper rash cream would be and fast because I was tired of seeing my baby suffer. After doing some research I came across Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment. To be honest, I didn’t know Aquaphor made a diaper rash ointment. I knew they had an ointment for adults because I’ve seen it used on tattoos, but diaper rash, no. This ointment claimed to relieve diaper rash within six hours. Impossible, right?
I put the Aquaphor ointment on at night and decided to wait until morning to make sure and give it enough time to work. The next morning, I went to change my son’s diaper and sure enough, the redness was gone. It was as if he never had a diaper rash. Since then I keep the big tube of Aquaphor in my house and if I feel I am running low, I run out and get another one.
This is how great this ointment is, my oldest daughter who is 18 now had eczema on her neck, she decided to try it to stop the itching and it worked wonders. It’s not even an eczema ointment but it works.
Stop Wasting Money
Take my advice, stop shopping around and wasting your money. Try Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, it’s pediatrician recommended and it really does work in six hours. Your baby will be free of diaper rash, until the next time anyway. It treats mild to moderate diaper rash with 41% Petrolatum and 15% Zinc Oxide. But this is a multipurpose product so it has many other uses.
I can’t say that I have anything bad to add about this product. Because it’s an ointment and not a cream it’s not hard to clean off, it wipes off easily with a baby wipe, it works for dry, chapped, or irritated skin so you could even use it on yourself if you have any of those, but I can say this, it does not work for yeast diaper rashes, so if your baby has that you may need to make a doctor’s appointment. There’s no antifungal in this one, and I know, my baby has had that too.
